Greek sausage

📝 Ingredients

  • 500 g Greek sausage (loukaniko) — preferably with orange peel & herbs

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, depending on the sausage)

  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

  • Optional: oregano, for sprinkling

🍳 Instructions

  1. Slice the sausage into thick rounds (about 1–2 cm).

  2. Heat a non-stick or cast-iron pan over medium heat. Add a little olive oil if needed.

  3. Fry the sausage pieces for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they become golden and slightly crispy on the outside.

  4. Once cooked, squeeze lemon juice over the sausage while it's still hot.

  5. Sprinkle with oregano if desired, and serve immediately with fresh bread or pita.
